My name is Shawn Walters. I am originally from Waynesboro, MS. After graduating college at the University of Southern Mississippi, I moved back home and chose to pursue a career in commodities trading. I started at SMT in 2017, and I currently specialize in Upper and Lower grade Southern Yellow Pine.

What does customer service mean to you? Being honest, reliable and being a partner with my customers in the good and bad times.

What are some fun facts about yourself? Love 80's hairbands and 80s and early 90s country music. When traveling, love finding local hole in wall restaurants to eat at.

What is your favorite food? Steak and Pizza

What is your favorite line from a movie? "You're Killing Me Smalls."

What is your favorite book? The Outsiders

What are some things you love? Playing golf, going to the beach, going to the Smokey Mtns, watching my son play baseball

What are some things you collect? Golf Balls, Comic Books and Sports Cards

What are some bucket list items? Aerosmith Concert, The Masters, Fenway Park and going to Las Vegas
